Welcome to the Wolf River Basketry Guild

Our guild was formed in Shawano, Wisconsin, in October 1993 to foster the art of making handmade baskets and promoting the craft in the northeast Wisconsin area. Membership is open to anyone of any weaving level. Annual dues are $15. 

Guild meetings are usually held monthly January through November, with a Christmas Party/Basket exchange in December.  There are no meetings in June or July.

Highlights of the year are the annual Fall Workshop held the last weekend in September, and the Spring Workshop usually held in April. Guild members may participate in one or more special projects during the year, including donating baskets to a local cause and a display at a local library.
